1st mobile cancer screening center inaugurated in Jharkand

Jharkhand Food, Public Distribution and Consumer Affair Minister, Saryu Roy on Monday inaugurated a mobile cancer screening centre and a two-day cancer detection camp here.Equipped with modern equipment, the mobile cancer screening centre was claimed to be the first of its kind in the country to detect cancer.

Appreciating the All India Marwari Yuva Manch for the initiative, Mr Roy expressed hope that the mobile cancer screening centre would help to reach out to people in remote areas and detect the disease in time.S R Rungta Group of the company donated the mobile cancer screening van with facility to conduct ten types of test related to the disease, which cost over Rs. 2.5 crore.
