Aamir Khan wants Sara Ali Khan in Thugs of Hindostan?

After Alia Bhatt and Shraddha Kapoor, looks like another star kid has joined in the running to star opposite Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan in Thugs of Hindostan. Apparently, Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara Ali Khan might just make her grand Bollywood debut with this movie. Yash Raj Films’ ambitious project is all set to hit the floors in a few months and while Aamir has already begun his preparations, the makers haven’t yet finalised a leading lady.

From what we hear, YRF head honcho Aditya Chopra wanted to cast Vaani Kapoor, whileAamir Khan was keen to have Alia Bhatt. However, now that things haven’t materialised, Mumbai Mirror reports that Aamir now wants Sara Ali Khan in Thugs. The superstar is keen on a much younger face for the movie and we guess Sara would be a perfect fit. In fact, it could be the best debut anyone has ever had! After the success of Dangal and with such a stellar cast, everyone is eagerly waiting for Thugs of Hindostan.

Previously, there were rumours that Sara would be making her debut in ‘Student of the Year 2’ or in the Indian remake of ‘The fault in our stars’ either opposite Ranveer Singh or Hrithik Roshan. Now, Aamir Khan wants her on his project. Karan Johar also stated that he would be casting her in his movies. With such big names on her side, there’s no way Sara is going to have a hard time getting her big break in Bollywood.

If Sara bags the role in ‘Thugs of Hindostan’, then she will be living the dream of every aspiring actress as she gets to debut her career within Bollywood next to Aamir Khan.

For those of you who don’t know, Thugs of Hindostan is an adaptation of the best-selling novel, Confessions of a Thug. The film will be set in India during the pre-Independence era (1830s) and will showcase the lives of thugs who used to torture and murder travellers for their valuables. Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the film will release in 2018.
