After seeing great success with his last film Mubarakan, director Anees Bazmee’s next film No Entry Mein Entry, The sequel to Anees Bazmee’s 2005 comedy, No Entry, has been in the offing for almost a decade. Intermittently, there is talk about its script being written and casting is underway.
However, if the latest buzz is to be believed, Akshay Kumar will be back to doing some masala entertainer very soon. Akshay Kumar has been reportedly roped in for the sequel of Anees Bazmee’s ‘No Entry’. According to reports, the sequel to the 2005 flick is going to have a new cast and Akshay Kumar has been approached to replace the character of Salman Khan in the film.
The latest chatter in trade circles suggests that Akshay Kumar is likely to replace Salman Khan in the sequel, which will now have a fresh cast. The original featured Fardeen Khan, Bipasha Basu, Lara Dutta, Esha Deol and Celina Jaitly. Considering that the Khiladi has been doing slice-of-life films, it might be a welcome move.
However, there has not been any announcement regarding No Entry sequel but Salman has already started shooting for Race 3. Thus, it is being believed that Salman has said “no” to the project, and according to the entertainment portal, Akshay is the new choice.
Meanwhile, Salman is all set to hit the box office with his upcoming big release Tiger Zinda Hai. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, it is sequel of Ek Tha Tiger, which was a big hit. Fans are extremely excited to see Salman and Katrina Kaif back on the screen together.
On the other side, Akshay has a number of upcoming movies. After the release of 2.0 that also features Rajinikanth, Akshay will be seen in Padman, Crack, Gold and Kesari.
