Ali to adopt families of 4 women prisoners

HYDERABAD: Film actor Ali will adopt families of four prisoners in the Special Prison for Women, Chanchalguda. Participating in the Prisoners Welfare Day on Gandhi Jayanthi on Friday at the jail, he responded to a plea by DIG prisons, A Narasimha to adopt one family to improve their living conditions. Ali in his response said he would adopt four families and take care of their needs.
Yesterday, Ali participated in the Prisoners Welfare Day at Chanchalguda Jail on the occasion Gandhi Jayanthi. Movie artistes Rajendra Prasad and Venu Madhu took part in a function at the Open Air Jail at Cherlapalli where they inaugurated a medical camp for the benefit of prisoners, superintendent of the jail, Y Rajesh said. At the Central Prison, Cherlapalli also Rajendra Prasad who participated in a programme said he would speak to chief minister K Chandrasekhara Rao about granting remission for prisoners. Prison superintendent K Venkateshwara Rao and judicial officers participated in the function.
