Tollywood actress Archana in her latest interview has expressed her angst for rejecting an offer made by top director SS Rajamouli.
Actress revealed that she had rejected a role in ‘Magadheera’ and it fell in the lap of Saloni. Explaining the circumstances under which she had to lose such a golden chance, she added, ‘after making my debut as lead heroine with Naresh’s ‘Nenu’, I made the biggest mistake of my career by playing a supporting role in ‘Nuvvosthanante Nenoddantana. I feel that mistake killed my heroine chances in tollywood. I used to cry everyday on that film’s sets’.
‘After that film, Rajamouli sir approached with the offer of ‘Magadheera’. Fearing it was another supporting role, I rejected it and that was the second biggest mistake of my life. Had I done that film, I might have played the lead role in his ‘Maryada Ramanna’ as well. I wanted to ask apology to Rajamouli,’ she said.
