Indian cricketer Bhuvneshwar Kumar is all set to tie the knot with Nupur Nagar on Thursday, with the pictures of his mehndi ceremony already doing rounds on social media. The 27-year-old Bhuvneshwar got engaged to Nupur in Greater Noida in a ceremony which was attended by close friends and family. The marriage will take place in Bhuvneshwar’s home town Meerut.
While Dhawan asked for time off cricket having played the first Test in which he scored a fluent 116-ball 94 with two sixes and 11 fours, Bhuvneshwar had to apply for leave as the right-arm seamer will be getting married on Thursday, November 23, to his fiancée Nupur Nagar.
Shikhar Dhawan posted the video on Instagram and wrote, “Lo ji ban gya ek aur joru ka ghulam @BhuviOfficial ..????Wish you a very happy married life bro.”
Dhawan, in his video on Bhuvi’s marriage, had asked the pace bowler if he would become a ‘joru ka ghulam’, to which he replied: “it is called love.” With the Mehndi and Haldi ceremonies taking place before the wedding, several pictures of both Bhuvneshwar and Nupur have been flooded all over social media.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s marriage celebrations had started days back and some videos of his mehndi ceremony.
Bhuvneshwar’s wedding reception is expected to be held in Bulandshahar on November 26 and on November 30 in New Delhi.
Bhuvneshwar, who is considered one of the best death bowlers in India, grabbed four wickets each in the two innings of the first Test against Sri Lanka and was named man-of-the-match for bowling India to the brink of victory.
