To start from where it begun, Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan have entered the premises of a Hindu temple with shoes and the idol was visible in the background. An advocate Gautam Gulati had lodged a complaint against both the stars saying the act hurts the religious sentiments of Hindus. He called it ‘well-planned malicious act to outrage Hindu feelings’.
However the Delhi Tis Hazar court on Monday dismissed a criminal complaint seeking an FIR against them. Mumbai police had told the court in an Action Taken Report (ATR) that the actors had been shooting at a makeshift temple (a set), which was a part of the sets created for one of the show’s episodes. They said that the temple was not real and the actors had not intended to hurt anybody’s religious sentiments.
As the Khans had met after a long time, the director of the show thought of an idea of showing them reuniting on the sets of ‘Kali Mandir’ in a similar way as they had reunited in the movie ‘Karan Arjun’ in such a temple after their ‘re-birth’ in the film.
Well, Khan saabs can breathe easy now.
