This dramatic video uploaded by khaoyainews shows a biker trying to go past a herd of wild elephants on a road in the heart of Thailand’s Khao Yai National Park, near the city of Korat. Suddenly, the annoyed herd, trumpeting loudly, charges at the slow moving biker forcing him to get off his bike and beg the elephants for mercy.
Later, when the elephants calm down the biker picks up his motorbike and walks away. Fortunately, the biker was not hurt nor was his bike damaged. But the lesson is clear, the gentle giants don’t like being disturbed and motorbikes in national parks should certainly be a no-no.
