Explosion outside Ukraine Parliament

Sharing is caring!

It has been reported by the AFP news agency that around 12 people were injured in an explosion that took place outside the Ukraine Legislature. It was immediately not known as to who or what caused the explosion outside of parliament. Reuters reported that a grenade was thrown from a crowd of nationalist demonstrators. According to the reports, members of security forces were among the wounded. This incident took place when lawmakers  were meeting inside parliament to vote in first reading of constitutional amendments granting special status to the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, which are largely controlled by the pro-Russia separatists. This is a major factor at which the Minsk peace volunteers aimed at bringing a stoppage to the fighting in eastern Ukraine. A total of 265 deputies voted in favor of the “decentralization bill.”
