The versatile Tollywood comedian Kondavalasa Lakshmana Rao passed away due to chronic illness in Hyderabad on Monday. He has been undergoing treatment at NIMS, Hyderabad, for Diabetes and ear infection for a while now. Kondavalasa shot to stardom with veteran director Vamshi’s Avunu Valliddaru Ishtapaddaru which also featured Ravi Teja and Kalyani in the lead roles. Since then, there is no looking back for Kondavalasa.
Born on August 10, 1949 in Srikakulam Andhra Pradesh, Kondavalasa began his acting career as a stage artist and gave more than 1000 stage performances across the Telugu states. Kondavalasa worked as an employee at Visakhapatnam Port Trust before he began his acting stint in Tollywood. He became popular for his trademark dialogue Aithe …Ok from Avunu Valliddaru Ishtapaddaru.
