Guru  is a Telugu sports drama film, produced by S. Shashikanth on Y NOT Studios banner and directed by Sudha Kongara Prasad. Starring Venkatesh, Ritika Singh in the lead roles and music composed by Santhosh Narayanan. The film is remake of Tamil Movie Irudhi Suttrub and Hindi (Saala Khadoos).

“Guru” Movie Story Line:

The story is about a boxing coach, who is not able to win the championship of his time due to malpractices by his opponent. He finds a fisher-woman who is aggressive and suitable for the boxing role. He trains her hard and makes her the boxing champion.

Guru narrates the story of Aditya (Venkatesh), a former national boxing player turned coach, who goes to Vizag to select potential candidates for a women boxing tournament. In the beginning, he has no hopes on find young talent in Vizag, but all his notions go out of the window when he meets Rameshwari aka Ramulu (Ritika Singh).

He finds a spark in her and pushes her to take up boxing. The rest of the story is about how Rameshwari beats all odds to emerge as a champion. The battle they have to win outside the ring is what forms the crux of the story.
