Jayasurya’s next, Horror-Comedy Pretham needs him to do some major changes in his appearance. Especially his tonsured head and beard look. As much as he got good remarks about it for the versatility, Jayasurya talked about how his 4-year old daughter Veda didn’t talk to her because of the look.
‘I had no hesitations about shaving my head for the role because that is my job and I am always prepared for it. But what made me uncomfortable was that my little daughter was so scared that she wouldn’t come near me. It took three days to calm her down and make her smile’, said the Idi actor.
Jayasurya plays John Don Bosco, who is a mentalist. He is capable of reading minds. He knows exactly what others are thinking. He is also in touch with his spiritual side. Pretham is third film for director Ranjith Shankar and Jayasurya combination. They did Punyalan Agarbattis, Su Su Sudhi Vathmeekam earlier and Sudheendran role got good remarks and the actor feels that playing stammerer isn’t difficult than playing a mentalist.
