Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru  is an upcoming Indian action crime thriller film written and directed by Sathuranga Vettai fame Vinoth and produced by S.R. Prakashbabu and S. R. Prabhu ofDream Warrior Pictures. The story is based on true events. Karthi and Rakul Preet Singh play the lead roles in this movie.This is also being dubbed into Telugu as KHAKEE.

After Sathuranga Vettai, Vinoth has narrated the script to Karthi. The actor was interested and agreed to work in the project after completing Kaashmora andKaatru Veliyidai. Producers, Dream Warrior Pictures, signed the director and the actor, the title was confirmed as Theeran Adhigaram Ondru.[3] Producer S.R. Prabhu says that, there are many action sequences in the movie which is based on the life of an adventurous cop.

“Khakee” Movie Story Line:

Theeran Adhigaram Ondru/ Khakee has Karthi playing the role of a cop for the second time. Rakul plays a loving, homely rural girl. The story of Khakee is based on a true incident of a high profile case handled successfully by the Tamil Nadu Police in the 90s. Karthi is a tough and sincere cop due to which he often gets transfer orders. He falls in love with a village belle (Rakul Preet Singh) during his police training and they get married. He is then assigned a case of a dangerous dacoit gang, which is behind a series of crimes. He is then assigned a case of a dangerous dacoit gang, which is behind a series of crimes. How he investigates the case and nabs the gang leader forms the crux of the story.

Performances: Khakee is completely a new make for Karthi and he has done justice to his role. His electrifying performance is the highlight of the movie. Rakul Preet Singh’s glamour and chemistry with the hero are also among the attractions of the film. Abhimanyu Singh, Bose Venkat, Scarlett Mellish Wilson, Mathew Varghese, Rohit Pathak and others have done good jobs.
