Kriti Sanon said her ‘Raabta’ co- star Sushant Singh Rajput, who had a face-off with media during recent press interactions, is not short tempered. Sushant was caught in a verbal spat with a journalist at the trailer launch of his upcoming film ‘Raabta’ when asked about Pakistan’s decision to execute Indian national Kulbhushan Jadhav on charges of spying.
Another headline suggested that Sushant was furious when journalists asked him about plagiarism charges against Raabta by the producers of Telugu film Magadheera.
“It is strange. I have known him during the filming of ‘Raabta’ and that time ‘M S Dhoni: The Untold Story’ had not released. I have seen him before and after the release of ‘M S Dhoni..’, he has been the same.”
“It’s unfortunate that things have been taken in a wrong way. I have known him as a person and he is not short tempered at all,” Kriti said.
In fact, Kriti said, that the situation was misconstrued. “When he said that he doesn’t know anything (referring to Kulbhushan Jadhav), doesn’t mean putting off anger. It is rather being confident. I don’t know what went wrong. I think things were taken in a different way,” Kriti said.
Raabta is an upcoming Indian romantic thriller film directed and produced by Dinesh Vijan co-produced by Homi Adajania and Bhushan Kumar. The film stars Sushant Singh Rajput, Kriti Sanon and Jim Sarbh in the lead roles. Deepika Padukone will be seen doing a cameo in the title song of the film while Rajkummar Rao will also make a cameo appearance in the film. It is scheduled to release on 9 June 2017.
