‘Haiku’ movie produced by Suriya will have a title change because it is not a Tamil term and hence may not attract the Entertainment Tax Exemption benefit granted by the Tamil Nadu State Government.
The director of the film Pandiraj himself made the announcement on his social media page and asked his fans to suggest a good name and if they find it apt to the story line of the movie, they might finalize it.
The movie has cameo roles played by Suriya and Amala Paul. Main roles are played by Bindhu Madhavi and Karthik Kumar. It is interesting to note that Suriya’s earlier film also went through the same process of name change from ‘Mas Engira Masilamani’ to ‘Massu Engira Masilamani’ for tax benefits.
