Going by her performance at her first audition, former model and Miss India finalist Sangeita Chauhaan had no inkling that she had a future in films. “I couldn’t get even one line right,” she says. But the makers of the upcoming Kannada film Sharp Shooter, which marks the transition of Ghouse Peer from lyricist to director, were confident that she could handle it, and asked her to meet them again.
The workshops apart, the actual shoot was also quite the learning ground for the young actress. “Ghouseji would explain every scene in detail and even tell me in which direction to stand to get the best camera angle. This was the best training ground I could have hoped for and I am now prepared even for the worst,” she says.
