Manamantha:  is an upcoming Indian Telugu family drama film written and directed by Chandra Sekhar Yeleti, starring Mohanlal, Gautami, Viswant Duddumpudi and Raina Rao in lead roles. Produced by Sai Korrapati, it is made simultaneously in Telugu and Malayalam languages, with the Malayalam version titled as Vismayam. The film was officially launched on 29 November 2015 in Hyderabad, and principal photography commenced on the following day.

A dubbed Tamil version titled Namadhu will release simultaneously along with the original versions in Telugu (Manamantha) and Malayalam (Vismayam). The film is scheduled to be released on 5 August 2016.

“Manamantha” Movie Story Line | Mohanlal & Gautami

‘Manamantha’ is a family drama which has been released in Malayalam as ‘Vismayam’ and in Tamil as ‘Namadhu.’ Written by Chandrasekhar Yeleti, the movie narrates the story of four individuals.

Manamantha has come up with a message- “Life is a Roller Coaster of Emotions, Desire, Fear, Sorrow, Sympathy, Hope, Joy, Anger, Grajayode, Love, Trust, Hurt, Jealousy, Surprise, Courage.” In Manamantha, Mohanlal plays the role of an Assistant Manager in Super Market and Gautami plays the role of a middle class Housewife. Other important characters are played by Viswanth as an Engineering student and Raina Rao as School Girl. The movie revolves around these four characters and the sequences that happen in their life. How a single incident brings drastic changes and brings them together forms the crux of the story.
