Mohenjo Daro heroine Pooja Hegde, who is playing Chaani in this Hrithik Roshan film, is reportedly suffering from dengue fever and will not be able to be a part of promotional activities. Pooja was busy promoting the Ashutosh Gowariker film when she was diagnosed.
A source told Deccan Chronicle, “It was three to four days ago that she was diagnosed with dengue. She was unwell for a few days and decided to undergo a few tests. She had already committed and given her nod to multiple photo shoots and appearances, but will now have to back out. The makers of the film have, however, been very cordial, asking her to take her time to recover before jumping back into action.”
Pooja has starred in Tamil film Mugamoodi (2012), Telugu films Oka Laila Kosam and Mukunda (2014). Mohenjo Daro is set in the ancient city of Mohenjo-daro in the era of the Indus Valley civilisation. that dates back to 2600 BC. It is slated to release on August 12.
