We see real life stories inspiring film stories very often. But it always adds a spooky vibe when you know a Horror film is inspired by a real life incident. One such film is being released in Kannada this month.

Starring Suhasini Maniratnam, Jai Jagadish, Priyanka Rao and Baby Suhasini, the horror thriller ‘Naani’ is being made in both Kannada and Telugu languages simultaneously. While talking about the film the director Sumant K. Gollahalli, ‘in 1997, a 13-year-old girl (who was a test-tube child) from Gujarat succumbed to burn injuries. The family lived in a 22-room bungalow and, to date; it is believed to be haunted by the spirit of the young girl. With permission of the actual family, we have brought this story to the big screen.’

It gives you chills in spine already, doesn’t it? The film is hitting screens on 24th June and most probably will get dubbed into Tamil as well.
