After 2013’s super hit ‘Neram’, Nivin Pauly is all set for another film in Tamil. This is going to be directed by a debutant Gautham Ramachandran and will be based on 2014’s Kannada Blockbuster ‘Ulidavaru Kandanthe’. The newbie film maker said that it is not a bit-to-bit remake for the original. They took a few elements from the original and weaved a new story around it.
Impressively Nivin sat down with the direction team as they were working on the script. Gautham admitted that he was surprised to see the actor’s commitment. They haven’t finalized any heroine for female lead.
Cinematographer Pandi Kumar, editor Atul, Art director Jaya and music composer Ajaneesh Loknath are good friends of Gautham and the producers’ Nand Kumar and Vinod Shornur, are Nivin’s close friends. The film will go on to the sets any time now (As soon as they finalize the female lead)
