Telugu film biggies used to say Sankranthi, Summer and Dasara are the big seasons to release films. They are big holiday seasons, which could benefit hit films, but these days every single festival became a season. Here comes the mighty Diwali, that gives only one holiday but a month long entertainment.
November month’s first Friday itself, we have Trisha ledha Nayanatara (5th) and Tripura (6th) hitting cinemas. Then comes the most awaited Akhil on November 11th with huge baggage of expectations. A day later, Kamal’s Cheekati Rajyam and Salman’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (Prema Leela in Telugu) are releasing in a grand affair in Tollywood. Both locked 12th November already. Within a week again, Shankarabaranam is going to sing its tunes on 20th, while Bengal Tiger will finish the month on 27th in huge number of theatres.
Even if all these films have done only average show at box office, it will be more than 150 crores business for trade circles and terrific entertainment for audiences.
