Actress Parul Yadav has been roped in to play the lead role in the Kannada remake of Kangana Ranaut-starrer “Queen”.
Ramesh Aravind’s upcoming bilingual, a remake of Queen, is finally set to roll with the star cast decided for both Kannada and Tamil remakes.
While Kajal Aggarwal will play Rani in the Kollywood movie titled Paris Paris, Parul Yadav will reprise Kangana’s role in Sandalwood’s Butterfly, Parul is busy preparing for the role and is sparing no effort to get into character before the she starts with her second schedule.
Tamannah Bhatia has been roped in to play the lead role in the Telugu remake of “Queen”.
Source says, “Even though, the film has been inspired by Queen, Ramesh Aravind wants to retell the story that is all south Indian, and even infuse a freshness to this hit movie. Therefore, a lot of work is going into it.” Parul has been taking classes in diction, we hear. Our source says,
“Parul Yadav has been learning a special Kannada dialect for the film, because the character is from Gokarna, and their spken language is different from the more commonly heard Kannada.” The other locations chosen for the movie are Paris and Amsterdam, among other places.
While the preparations are on, Ramesh plans to go with the second schedule on the Kannada remake from October 4. Butterfly, made under Mediente International Films is being produced by Manu Kumaran. It has Mamtha Sagar writing the dialogues, and the cast includes Sudha Belvadi and Bhargavi Narayan.

The film, titled Butterfly, to be directed by actor-director Ramesh Aravind, is being officially launched today on Parul’s birthday. The latest is, south star Amy Jackson, who has been roped in to play the role played by Lisa Haydon in the Hindi version, in all four south Indian language remakes of the film.
