The Solapur girl is very busy with juggling between Malayalam and Tamil films. Started with Tamil film ‘Madrasi’, Vedhika have made her place firm in all four south languages. As she is doing a Tamil film after two years, she talked about ‘Vinodhan’ and a lot more about her career at actress.

I feel so lucky to get featured in amazing films always. After ‘Paradesi’ the graph just went up. I was given more performance oriented roles along with stylish and commercial ones. ‘James and Alice’ was very special because Alice is adoptable for every independent woman and the character is very strong. Prithviraj messaged me after the film’s premier saying I’ve done a commendable job. Message from a star like him meant a lot. Working again with Dileep is amazing. Both films Welcome to Central Jail and Sringaravelan are very different, so does my roles in them.

The upcoming Tamil-Malayalam bi-lingual film, ‘Vinodhan is being produced by Prabhu Deva sir and Victor Jayaraj is directing it. It will be released in both Tamil and Malayalam. I’ll be paired up against Varun, he is a new actor. The film shooting has already started and I’ll be playing time travelling character. I’ll seen as a school girl and collage going girl as well

Talking about her childhood, ‘I’ve done my schooling in a boarding school. I lived independent since then. Acting is my childhood dream. But people used to laugh at me when I say I want to become an actress. So I used to say Cardiologist to sound myself complicated and intelligent.’ said the ‘Cousins’ actress.

After the well-reception of ‘James and Alice’, Vedhika is working for ‘Welcome to Central Jail’ and ‘Vinodhan’.
