Ram Gopal Varma is one of the finest and the most daring filmmaker in India. Though his tweets have often landed himself in trouble, RGV is right, sometimes. Baahubali: The Conclusion has opened to fantastic response from all quarters and has officially shattered the existing box-office records in India. The film, however, garnered mixed response from a particular section of the media. For the same, the maverick filmmaker took to Twitter to post a sarcastic tweet.
As always, RGV took to Twitter to speak his mind, this time saying that producer Shobu Yarlagadda should sponsor mental health checkups for people who disliked the second instalment of SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus.
This is not it. Looks like Ram Gopal Varma cannot just rave enough about Bahubali 2. He wrote a series of tweets praising the blockbuster opening of the film and how it has changed the face of Indian cinema. Here’s a sample of the flood of tweets he sent out in the aftermath of Baahubali’s release.
Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, starring Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah Bhatia and Sathyaraj, has had the largest opening in the history of Indian box-office, by raking a total of Rs 121 crore on its day of release.
“#Baahubali2 Fri 121 cr NETT. India biz. Hindi: 41 cr. Telugu + Tamil + Malayalam: 80 cr,” tweeted trade analyst Taran Adarsh.
