Priyanka Chopra: It is a fairy tale for both Meghan Markle and Anushka Sharma

Priyanka Chopra is known for speaking her heart out. The global icon enamours us every time with her wit and warmth. Back to Bay, PeeCee on Tuesday was present at the Zee Cine Awards 2017 where she enthralled everyone with her performance.

While Anushka tied the knot with longtime boyfriend, cricketer Virat Kohli on December 11, Meghan announced her engagement to Prince Harry last month and is set to wed him on May 19 next year. Reacting to Meghan’s engagement, Priyanka Chopra said she has spoken to the Suits actor and is very happy for her. “I don’t know about the wedding. I don’t know about that but of course I have spoken to her (Meghan) and I am extremely happy for her.”

At the red carpet, PeeCee was asked about Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s wedding and the soon to take place the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Replying to it, an ecstatic Priyanka said, “It is a fairy tale for both Meghan and Anushka, two people I know really well and they have this fairytale wedding so it is really great to see.”

Priyanka shares a great relationship with both Anushka and Meghan. Priyanka is expected to attend Virushka’s wedding reception in Mumbai on December 26, 2017, and it will be exciting to see her reunion with everyone.

Priyanka Chopra was also asked about her own plans of walking down the aisle. The actor laughed and replied that marriage is not something to “plan for” and it is just about having the right man. “I need to have a guy to get married. When I will get a guy, the right guy, I will get married. Maybe I haven’t got any guy, a guy who is suitable for me,” she said.

Earlier Priyanka had revealed, “Marriage is definitely on the cards, but will happen when the time is right. It will happen when it is destined to.” She had also said, “If I do decide to take the plunge, it would be with someone who understands and supports that. At the end of the day, two people make a relationship work. It will take an understanding and prioritization from both.”
