The first look of the much-anticipated Tamil science-fiction thriller ‘2.0’, a sequel to Enthiran, will be released on November 20, a source said.
The makers are planning a grand event on November 20 to unveil the first look of the film. The teaser will be released during Sankranti festival next year,” a source told.
Directed by Shankar, the film also features Akshay Kumar, Amy Jackson, Sudhanshu Pandey and Adil Hussain.

Under Shankar’s direction, the Tamil sci-fi 2.0 is a sequel to 2010 blockbuster Enthiran (Robo in Telugu). The film also stars Akshay Kumar as the antagonist, apart from Amy Jackson, Adil Hussain and Sudhanshu Pandey. Reportedly being made on a lavish budget of Rs 350 crore.
2.0 is an upcoming 2017 Indian science fiction film written and directed by S. Shankar, co-written by B. Jeyamohan and produced by Subaskaran Allirajah, founder of London-based Lyca Productions. A spiritual successor to Enthiran (2010), the film will feature Rajinikanth reprising the roles of Dr. Vaseegaran and Chitti, alongside Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson. The soundtrack album will be composed by A. R. Rahman while cinematography, editing and production design are handled by Nirav Shah, Anthony and T. Muthurajrespectively. The film is being produced simultaneously in three languages Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu and is scheduled for release in 2017.
