As per reports, after the account was hacked, Rajinikanth had started following Kamal Haasan, Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and even Kabali’s director Ranjith, producer S Thanu and PRO Riaz Ahmed. Later, after the Twitter account was restored, the above mentioned stars were unfollowed.
Rajinikanth joined Twitter only in 2013 but has a huge following: More than 3 million. But the actor isn’t known to be active on social media.
Unprecedented fan hysteria for Rajinikanth was seen before Kabali. The shows began at 5 am and even they were fully booked. Milk baths were given to giant cut-outs of Rajinikanth.
Kabali’s also broke records and did fabulously well at the box office. Kabali toppled all records save that of Baahubali. The film is closing in on Rs 300 crore in worldwide box office business.
