What actor Rhea Chakraborty feels about superstar Shah Rukh Khan is nothing different from what any fan feels about him. Everyone knows SRK is a charmer, and guess what? He has fans within the film industry as well.
Rhea, who was last seen in Half Girlfriend and will next be seen in Bank Chor is a big SRK fan like most of us. Apart from expressing her desire to work with King Khan, Rhea spoke to NDTV and recollected her experience of meeting SRK.
“I met SRK after becoming an actor at a couple of film parties. That experience made me fall in love even more than I already was. When he enters a room, the conversations stop. Even though there are 100 people in the room, people stop talking and stammer because they are just looking at him, and that happens. He has this magnetism to his personality.”
What stands out about SRK for Rhea is the way he treats women around him, “He is so kind to women. He will always come and ask, are you okay? Are you fine? Do you want something? And he is our biggest superstar!”
Rhea was born into a Bengali Hindu family. She started her television career in 2009 with MTV India’s reality show TVS Scooty Teen Diva and was the first runner-up. Later on she auditioned to be a VJ at MTV Delhi and was selected. She has hosted several MTV shows including Pepsi MTV Wassup, TicTac College Beat and MTV Gone in 60 seconds.
In 2012, she made her film debut with Telugu film Tuneega Tuneega playing the character, Nidhi. In 2013, she debuted in Bollywood with Mere Dad Ki Maruti as Jasleen. She played the character of Sonali in Rohan Sippy’s film Sonali Cable.
She has signed YRF’s Bank Chor opposite Riteish Deshmukh and Vivek Oberoi.
