Ritu Varma to Make her Tamil Debut, with Vikram

Ritu Varma who shot to fame with her performance in romantic comedy flick Pelli Choopulu is making inroads into Tamil. Ritu bagged an offer from ace director Gautam Menon to play the role of one of the heroines in his next project.

The buzz is Goutam brought Ritu on board after Malayali actress Anu Emmanuel, who was supposed to play the role dropped out of the movie due to date issues. As per reports, Ritu already began shooting for the big-budget flick. We wish Ritu all the best to make it big in Tamil.

Anu Emmanuel chose to walk out after Vikram’s sudden decision to leave Dhruva Natchathiram and commence shooting for Vijay Chander’s film, forcing the young actress to shuffle her dates which she couldn’t do due to her previously signed commitments. Despite being very excited to be part of the project, she had no other option but to leave as she has Pawan Kalyan’s Vedalam remake in her kitty.

Dhruva Natchathiram is an upcoming Tamil-language Indian spy thriller film produced, written and directed by Gautham Menon. Featuring Vikram in the lead role, the film began production in January 2017.
