Actress Rose McGowan has called on Hollywood executives to stop “rewarding” sexual predators by giving them work.

On Monday, Rose McGowan posted an open letter on Twitter urging the men and women in the entertainment industry to “be brave” and “take a stand” against working with “offenders.”

In the note, the actress also told her fellow entertainers to “stop rewarding sociopaths.”

“Every time you sanction abhorrent behavior, you are aiding and abetting a crime, that makes you no better than the criminal,” she wrote. “How many stories do you have to hear before you do the right thing and stop rewarding men that are predators?”

Last week, the hashtag WhyWomenDontReport started circulating, listing off the many reasons why women often stay silent about sexual assault. Rose McGowan offered up a list as well, alleging she was sexually assaulted by a studio head.
