Filmmaker Mysskin and actor Shanthanu Bhagyaraj are coming together for a Tamil film. Actor Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, son of veteran filmmaker Bhagyaraj, on Wednesday took to Twitter to share a picture that also featured filmmaker Mysskin, lensman PC Sreeram and producer Ravindran Chandrasekhar and captioned it: “My new birth. Bless me”. While many guessed that the picture hinted at a new collaboration, Shanthanu has confirmed that he’s thrilled to team up with the filmmaker for a new yet-untitled Tamil project.
According to the industry reports, Actresses Sai Pallavi and Nithya Menen are likely to be roped in for the project. However, there has been no official confirmation regarding the same.
Meanwhile, Sai Pallavi and Nithya Menen are busy with their respective work commitments. Last seen in the Telugu film ‘Awe’, Nithya Menen awaits the release of the multilingual film ‘Praana’. On the other hand, Sai Pallavi will be seen opposite Suriya in ‘NGK’, directed by Selvaraghavan.
The yet-untitled project will be bankrolled by Libra Productions, which had previously produced projects like ‘Sutta Kadhai’ and ‘Nalanum Nandhiniyum’.
The film will have cinematography by renowned cameraman PC Sreeram and It’ll be the legendary cinematographer’s maiden collaboration with Mysskin, whose last outing was the dark comedy Savarakathi, which he had written. The rest of the cast are yet to be confirmed by the makers.
