Salman Khan’s bodyguard Shera, who faces assault charges after he allegedly broke a man’s collar bone and threatened him with a gun, has been picked up by the police. He is being taken to Mumbai’s DN Nagar police station for questioning and is likely to be arrested.
He has been booked for assaulting for which the complaint has been registered in Mumbai’s DN Nagar police station. As per the complaint, the incident took place around 2.30 AM on Tuesday when the man approached Shera and a heated argument started between the two. It was then that Shera and two other bodyguards began fighting and broke his collar bone and pointed their gun at him.
An FIR has been registered against Shera under section 326 and 506 of the IPC for voluntarily causing grievous hurt by dangerous weapon and criminal intimidation. A police team was dispatched to trace Shera on Wednesday afternoon.
Shera has been guarding Salman for over 18 years and is a close aide of the actor. So much so that, Salman Khan showed his generosity towards Shera by dedicating his film ‘Bodyguard’ to him.
