Rosshan Andrrews’ directorial venture ‘School Bus’ released today. The investigative thriller revolves around a 12 year old school kid Ajoy (Master Aakash Muraleedharan) who glides off from school along with his sister Angelina (baby Angelina Roshan) to escape punishments. When this event made the kids fall into trouble, a Police Inspector Gopakumar (Kunchacko Boban) enters the scene to solve the issue. Was the police able to save the kids? That knits the entire tale.
Ajoy and Angelina acted as the child artists in the film. The scenes in the class room takes everyone to their childhood times. Jayasurya and Aparna Gopinath acted as parents who are worried about their mischievous kid.
Plus Points: commendable acting by the kids. Kunchacko Boban’s matured performance. ‘Traffic’ movie fame Bobby and Sanjay’s script which made the film more interesting and kept the audience at the edge of the seats. Cinematographer CK Muralidharan.
Minus Points: Gopi Sundar’s average composition of background score and songs.
However, a must watch by kids and parents. A perfect classy thriller custom made for family audience.
