“Siva Karthikeyan” is an film actor, playback singer working in the Tamil film industry. He began his career as a stand-up comedian and television personality at STAR Vijay, initially participating in reality shows, including the stand-up comedy show Kalakka Povathu Yaaru and the dance competition show Jodi Number One. He later went on to become a recurring host of those shows, especially the popular Athu Ithu Ethu, and many other STAR Vijay shows for multiple seasons until shortly after he made his acting debut in Marina (2012)

“Siva Karthikeyan”, who is rated the rising star of Tamil cinema, got emotional on stage while addressing the media during the success meet of his latest film ‘Remo’. He surprised everyone by revealing that many VIP’s tried to stop his film’s release.

Karthikeyan started his speech by thanking all the film’s distributors, cast and crew. He got really emotional while he was talking about the film’s producer RD Raja. “Before the release of Remo, we faced several issues. I don’t want to take the names but you know who created hindrances for my film’s release”, Siva Karthikeyan emotionally said.

“My producer Raja and I never wanted to snatch the victory of others. All we want is to make films and entertain the audiences. Please allow us to work, we are not asking them to support us since media and audiences are with us. I am only requesting them not to create obstacles in our path,” the ‘Remo’ actor said.

Remo has taken the third biggest opening of this year after Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kabali and Vijay’s Theri. Beating the openings of Suriya’s 24 and Vikram’s ‘Iru Mugan’ was no mean feat and it illustrate the fact that Siva Karthikeyan is poised to become a bigger superstar than anyone might have imagined. He feels that a few bigwigs are trying to hinder his progress.

Soon in Telugu Dil Raju is going to release the dubbed version of ‘Remo’.
