28 year old Sonakshi Sinha already has two releases (Akira, Force 2) for this season and she signed again for another Comedy Crime Thriller which would likely be going on floors by July. Being directed by Sunhil Sippy, the film is an Indian remake for 2014 ‘Karachi, you are killing me’ by Pakistani writer Saba Imtiaz. Sonakshi will be seen playing a journalist in this film, titled as ‘Noor’. T-Series is producing the movie.
As today (2nd June) the actress is celebrating her 29th Birthday, the film crew released a special teaser featuring the Sinha girl. She looks like such a cool journalist in the film. According to the teaser, Noor is stylish, playful, naughty and social media addict. We’ll get to know more once the film goes for the regular shoot schedule.
Finally Sonakshi is selecting some experimental and challenging roles for her films. She is going to be a RAW agent in Abhinay Deo‘s ‘Force 2’.
Talking about ‘Noor’ and its origin, Sonakshi said, ‘While the book – a coming-of-age story of a journalist named Ayesha Khan is set in Karachi, Noor will be based in Mumbai and has the eponymous Noor Roy Chaudhary, a 20-something journalist, at its centre.’
According to the sources, the shoot will be packed up by end of August thing year. So, probably we can expect ‘Noor’ in theatres by end of this year.
