Sunny Leone’s adult comedy Mastizaade is all set for a release, after months of being stuck. The film was at the Censor Board table for several months before finally being cleared for a release. Mastizaade is finally to hit the screens on January 29, 2016 now.
Mastizaade has had to face several problems at the Censor Board’s hands thanks to its sexually explicit content and heavy usage of double entendres. The film raised quite a few eyebrows the very moment it landed at the Censors’ doorsteps. After several scenes being chopped off, Mastizaade was finally given an ‘A’ certificate on August 14 this year.
Right from the time the first teaser of Mastizaade hit the web, in May this year, it was expected that the film might run into trouble with the Censor Board. In just two days of its release, the teaser had received more than 2 lakh hits on YouTube, where it had been shared. The teaser was later taken off the internet after the censors raised issues about the same. The team of Mastizaade had begun shooting the film in 2014.
