The 10th edition of ‘FAIRPRO’, a property and real estate exhibition organised by the Chennai chapter of Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations (CREDAI), would begin here on Friday. However, the three-day extravaganza will miss the participation of chief minister OPanneerselvam and AIADMK general secretary V K Sasikala, thanks to the prevailing political turmoil.
The AIADMK leaders were expected to be present during the inauguration of the mega event. However, the developments went for a toss, after Panneerselvam revolted against Sasikala leading to cracks within the party.
Actress Tamannaah Bhatia would inaugurate the property fair on Friday, in which 75 developers will be showcasing nearly 300 residential projects with the prices ranging from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 10 crore.
All projects that are part of the FAIRPRO 2017 are approved and cleared by the government agencies, a press release said. The expo will cater to buyers from different segments with lucrative pricing and offerings across different house segments, it added.
