Hrithik Roshan’s Mohenjo Daro is definitely one of the most anticipated films of 2016. Not only because the period dramas are trending but it’ been 2 years that we saw the Greek god on screen. Hrithik’s last film was 2014’s Bang Bang. He was again seen in Hey Bro but that was just a special appearance in a song. But when this Ashutosh Gowariker’s directorial was announced, we were expecting an epic in making. After seeing the first look posters of Hrithik and Pooja Hegde, we thought we are waiting for the right one! But who knows that it’ll turn out to be a disappointment!
The song was sung by A R Rahman himself and unfortunately the visuals killed to an extent that we don’t notice the magical vocals as well. Though we were prepared to a certain point not to be very particular on the details of sets, the facts that a team of archaeologists who documented the discovery of Indus valley helped Ashutosh in planning the sets, is confusing us about what to expect from the film.
Leaving all this aside, the song has a fun beat and Hrithik didn’t seem to move his body much! And the rosy red eyes are covering up all the facial expressions too! Totally, this isn’t what we’ve signed up for. Pooja Hegde and A R Rahman are the only people who didn’t let us down in this particular video.
Mohenjo Daro is aiming at a 12th August release. Let us know your comments below!
