Newly-weds Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma met PM Modi on Wednesday, after returning from their destination wedding and honeymoon.
Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli and top Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma, who recently tied the knot in Italy, visited Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the national capital on Wednesday to invite him for their wedding reception on Thursday.
The Prime Minister congratulated the couple on their wedding, and is expected to attend the grand reception that is to take place at a five-star hotel in the capital tomorrow.

The couple is set to host two receptions, one in New Delhi on December 21, and the other in Mumbai on December 26 which will be attended by the cricketers and Bollywood celebrities.
Virat and Anushka officially announced the news of their wedding on their respective social media accounts on December 11, ending days of suspense and fevered speculation by the media.
“Today we have promised each other to be bound in love forever. We are truly blessed to share the news with you. This beautiful day will be made more special with the love and support of our family of fans & well-wishers. Thank you for being such an important part of our journey,” Anushka and Virat wrote on their respective social media accounts alongside pictures of the wedding ceremony.
After their reception in Mumbai, the newlyweds will travel to South Africa where the cricketer is playing a series, which includes three Tests, six One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches.
