Arjun Rampal has been vigorously working on his next, titled, ‘Daddy’, Here it is, the first motion poster of Arjun Rampal’s thriller ‘Daddy’, which is based on the life of Mumbai’s famous gangster-turned-politician Arun Gawli. The makers of the film released a 14-second clip that shows uncanny similarities between the real and reel characters.
The clip shows an original mug shot of Gawli from his arrest in 1979 at the Agripada jail in Mumbai. As the video progresses, it morphs to become Arjun’s face and the tagline reads, “The only one who did not run”. Apart from his many facets, Gawli was also considered as ‘Robinhood’ by the residents of his neighbourhood who later went on to lovingly call him ‘daddy’.

Produced by Eros International, Kundalini Entertainment and Karta Entertainment, ‘Daddy’ has been directed by Ashim Ahluwalia and stars Arjun in the leading role.
