One of the big names in Telugu industry at present in the genre of direction is none other than Koratala Siva, the director of the latest blockbuster, ‘Srimanthudu’ staring Mahesh Babu. His debut movie was ‘Mirchi’ with Prabhas that stood as the biggest hit in Prabas’s career then in 2013.
Siva says that his biggest inspiration and mentor was his mom who raised him and his brother single-handedly ever since his father expired when Siva was 10 years of age. After his father’s death she dint marry again instead took her fathers post and started working to raise and educate both her sons. However she could not see her sons high end success as a director as she passed away before Mirchi released.
Siva says that his movies are not just about entertainment but are more message oriented. He started off his career as a writer and penned dialogs for movies like Munna, Okkadunnaru, Oosaravelli and Brindavanam. His big break as a writer came with Ravi Teja’s Bhadra in 2005.
