The magnum opus ‘Baahubali’ as we all know has been creating records from day one of its release. The movie has collected 577 crores worldwide thereby making a mark for itself as the third highest all time grosser in Indian cinema, and its almost highly impossible for any other South Indian movie to reach such heights any time soon.
Even though the movie has reached the 500 crore mark long back, its slowly pacing towards the 600 crore mark. The movie has been removed from most of the theaters across the nation so its most likely that the movie may not be able to reach the 600 crore mark. Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan is in the second position currently with 610 crores gross as worldwide collection.
Rajamouli and his producers are planing to release the movie in other international markets like China. If the movie succeeds there, it will touch Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘PK’ collections of over 700 crores as gross worldwide. Currently PK hails as the biggest worldwide grosser of Indian cinema.
At the moment, pre-production work of Baahubali 2 is going on and the regular shooting of the film will begin from October with the cast and crew.
