Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh, who hasn’t been a part of the Team India’s recent few series, has been booked for domestic violence by former Bigg Boss contestant and sister-in-law Akanksha.
Akanksha, who was last seen in the 10th season of the famous reality show, filed a domestic violence case against the cricketer, her mother-in-law (Shabnam) and her husband (Zorawar).
The reports on the matter emerged from Entertainment portal, Spotboye, while Akankash said that she would speak about the subject during the case’s first hearing on October 21.
Akanksha’s lawyer Swati Singh Malik had confirmed the news as she told the portal, “Yes, Akanksha has filed a case of domestic violence against Yuvraj, her husband Zoravar and their mother Shabnam.”
When her lawyer was asked that why a domestic violence case has been filed against Yuvraj Singh, the lawyer replied, “Look, domestic violence does not mean just physical violence. It also means mental and financial torture, which can be attributed to Yuvraj.”
She further said “Yuvraj was a mute spectator to the suffering caused to my client by Zoravar and his mother.”
Not only this Malik even added, “When Yuvraj and Zoravar’s mother was pressurising Akanksha to have a baby, Yuvraj too had joined in to do the same. He too told Akanksha ‘to have a baby’. He was hand-in-glove with his mother.”
The case of domestic violence has been filed in Gurugram.
